We had some sewer line issues for a while and called more than one company. In the end, it turned out to be Orangeburg (Google it) sewer line that had to be replaced. No one wants that, but Nichols has made it as painless as possible. They were so much better than previous services, including to national name-brands. Nichols Plumbing and Heating (Brewer,ME) ... my message to them: Spent a week, two phone calls, four voicemails and two of these messages trying to get an estimator to call me about installing a hot water heater. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK !!!! I called Harley Plumbing and Heating yesterday and a person will be here TODAY to give me an estimate. I will hire and pay them (CASH) to install for me and will recommend them to others .

Our experience with Nichols Plumbing was 100% positive. We had an issue with our sewer line which was chronically backing up into our basement about once a year. Unpleasant to say the least! We’d consulted with other plumbers who advised us we’d need to tear up the line and replace it at great expense. Then Steve and Matt from Nichols Plumbing arrived on the scene. Brad was awesome. Despite his own family being impacted by a power outage, he came to our house and was friendly, professional, and efficient. We've always had good luck with Nichols.
Dependable and great workmanship
Brad was able to quickly clear a drain that had a foreign object in it that was inadvertently pushed about 6 feet further down the drain, as well as clear a second slow draining drain. He was friendly, efficient and effective. Highly recommend!
