Unfortunately echoing Mary's sentiment above. As a young woman and first time home buyer with lots of questions, I was repeatedly told by my realtor that the inspector would be the person to ask about house things, so I trusted that would be the case. Kevin missed an important issue with the wiring and I was grateful to have someone else point it out so I could use it in negotiating. Overall pretty disappointed. As a first time home buyer and a young lady who knows close to nothing about construction I put a lot of trust into someone and I was let down. I asked if an area in the crawl space looked like water damage, his response was “I would only be concerned if it was black, but if it makes you feel better I’ll recommend a contractor evaluation.” He omitted the contractor evaluation recommendation out of the final report, therefore the buyers did not agree to it.
