I went to see this Dr. for kidney stones. After 3 minutes of answering standard questions, he sent me next door to his business partners at Greenwich Radiology for a $400 CAT Scan. Confirmed what I already knew, I had kidney stones. I am insured and was not aware that it would cost so much despite having coverage. I did not return for a follow-up, got rid of the stones on my own for free. Advise your patients on costs before sending them for costly procedures.

Saw dr Stroumbakis for borderline high PSA. Immediately suggested biopsy. I asked about MRI guided biopsies - he said, "MRI not up to par for biopsy or detecting prostate cancer." Other Dr's disagree ! After doing a DRE, he sent me next door for new PSA test. Next day, called to say, "Your PSA went up, better think about biopsy." (Note: PSA often rises after a DRE.) I appreciated his concern, but not the high pressure and imprecise information. Went elsewhere and had better experience.
