Beautiful facility overall. Pool area was great for the swim meet with a good amount of room for the spectators, but the lighting towards the pool was dark.
The best gym. Honestly doesn't get that crowded and has everything you need and more: weights, swimming pool, fitness classes (yoga, strength, zumba, cycling, HIIT, barre, aquatics, etc.), track, courts, treadmills/cycling/ellipticals, athletic training, massage, wellbeing. Really affordable alumni/affiliate and community member rates too.
Communication between employees is sub par to say the least. Very disappointed in my experience at the Nicholas Recreation Center and with the University of Wisconsin as a whole.
