I dont know what kinda surgery this doctor me, but I dont know i have not gained 1 pound over my target weight. Its been over 5 years and I still can not eat but a few bites. I told him I wanted to be 160 and if I get close to that weight I started to lose it. Im about 154 to 158 and cant not go over 160. This is the only doctor I would trust for weight loss surgery.
I would like to start off by saying Dr. Sousa initially comes across as a really good guy. My opinion about him and associates (resident doctors) at St.johns hospital has drastically changed in the last few days. I was admitted to St.johns hospital in Madison heights with extreme unbearable stomach pain. Beaumont hospital transferred me there after doing a CAT scan and seeing multiple concerning issues. Dr Nicholas Sousa is one of my favorite physicians! Excellent bariatric surgeon. He is knowledgeable about his craft. I've lost a significant amount of weight under his weight loss program. I wish I could rate his office a 10 because they deserve it. I'm not exaggerating. If you are considering gastric bypass surgery, I highly recommend him.
