I got an infection twice from two different incidences where their technician did not use sterilized pedi utensils and accidental though it was cut me with the snips they use. I had to see a podiatrist the first time to be treated for the infection but she had cut so deeply that it nipped a nerve and I have been numb on the side of my nail bed ever since which feels strange in an uncomfortable way.
