Honest Pleased with service I received from Allen and Sons. I had to call to get my refrigerator fixed. Technician cleaned coils and now it works perfect again. Very happy the technician didn't tell me it was going to be a ridiculous amount to fix and replace parts that didn't need to be replaced.

Impressed Have a whirlpool washer that needed repair. It is still under the warranty so whirlpool had recommended Allen and Sons. I was very impressed with the service I received from start to finish. A person called me before my appointment time and also after to follow up. Technician was super. Did the job very quickly. He was a very nice guy. I understand why whirlpool recommends this company. It makes Whirlpool look good as well. Will recommend Allen and Sons.

Long time customer still happy to call them! I have been a customer of Allen and sons for over 7 years. They have repaired my washer, dishwasher, BBQ and my dryer over that time. When I bought my house in 2002 they were the second company (since the first company could not fix it) called by my insurance company for my whirlpool duet washer and couple years later it broke again they covered the part (lid switch) under the 5 year warranty when my new home insurance company refused to cover any appliance repairs. bad service Horrible service, the technician was on the cell phone for 45min's and said he was being walked through it. WALK THROUGH WHAT, I THOUGHT I CALLED A TECHNICIAN!!! Beware Beware of these guys. We had two appliances go out at once -- a built in microwave and refrigerator. The deal is that they come out for a fee of only $30, which gets applied to any repair. The catch is that they overcharge you for the repairs. I asked the repairman to leave after I saw his quotes. For example, he said the labor on the microwave would take about 15 minutes. However, he wanted to bill me $149 for the labor ("it's a flat fee") plus another $50 for removing the microwave. I rolled up my sleeves and pulled... read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY! They tried literally for 10 visits to fix my freezer door that was frosting up. The repair was so shotty that we ended up having to replace the entire door on a Kitchenaid sidebyside purchased in 2004. They also tried three times to repair our washer that leaked. More than $400 later, it still leaked and had to be replaced.

Don't use this company We had two appliances that broke at the same time, a dishwasher and a microwave. They came over to assess these and order parts. They came back to do the repairs, but were only able to repair one of the appliances. One week later they returned to repair the other appliance. They failed to reassemble the microwave back together completely, and then when they asked for payment they tried to raise the price from what was originally quoted. Great place I called a couple days ago to get my dishwasher fixed. They came that same day and had all the parts needed in order to fix the problem that day.I will most likely call them for future major appliance problems.

always reliable, used multiple times and never a problem I have used Allen and Sons repeatedly over the years and have never had a problem. They always give a fair estimate and have even told me when an appliance was not worth repairing. After 5 or 6 trips out to my house and about as many referrals to friends and family, I still have no complaints.
