Our precious Mother needed therapy after several falls. She wanted to stay home instead of going to a rehab center for physical therapy so she tried therapy at home first. She did not improve so she was admitted into Star Regional Hospital. From the hospital she was sent to NHC for physical therapy. I find NHC to be superior in every aspect of patient care. I had a family member recently staying as a rehab patient here. Because of services provided, I contacted Medicare. Medicare said because they were licensed as a Long-term facility they do not need to meet the rehab regulations for a rehab facility. Put your family member her at your own risk.

This is one of the most charming nursing homes i have ever been in. The lighting in each room is very soothing. The nurse staff were very kind peppy and attentive. My friend who was a patient/resident there said the treatment she received while I was there visiting was as high quality as when I wasn't there. That's usually a good sign they are consistent. Highly recommended for your family's long term needs. Recently used this facility with my grandfather and had no complaints. All of the staff members I encountered seem to genuinely care about the patients, which is top priority in my book.
