Terrific staff and nurses in the surgery center. Very well organized and handled my care with respect. Highly recommend this hospital.
I've had to got here for a concussion, COVID, and for a 4 cm hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. I was in a bed within 3 hours for the cyst and concussion, and 4 hours for COVID when they were slammed (pulse ox of 92 so I was low priority). I saw a doctor all three times. I was given proper medication for pain and breathing issues both times. I had some issues when I went in for COVID with my breathing treatment but they were also very busy. I had a procedure on March 2, 2026, and stayed overnight in the hospital until March 3. I cannot say enough wonderful things about and his entire team. From the moment I arrived, the care I received was absolutely phenomenal. Dr. Velazquez is truly one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors I have ever met. They straight pissed me off. I’m in active labor and the stay was a different experience since the last. Some of the overnight nurses made the environment uncomfortable. Had me doing their jobs for them. I would ask for the simplest thing and not receive not one that that I asked for not once! This was after delivery! They straight left their trash behind like the pill cups, and the little thing that pricks the baby’s feet when they needed to check my baby’s blood sugar!
