"Extremely disappointed doing business with Shawnee and Next Home Unlimited. Despite providing official military orders and notice months in advance for a PCS move, surrendering keys and vacating the property when we said we would. They are still attempting to charge rent for the final month of our lease. (Which is now accruing “late” charges everyday). We rented from NextHome Unlimited in Junction City from November 2024 to February 2026 while building our home, and it was by far the worst rental experience we’ve ever had. We went nearly two months without heat, including most of January, forcing us to temporarily relocate. Multiple service calls were made with no resolution until the homeowner stepped in—at which point a cut furnace pipe causing a gas leak was discovered, resulting in an ER visit for our family.
