Service was awful. We made a reservation and there wasn't enough chairs and silverware. Our server was high and keep forgetting our drinks and stuff we asked for (the chairs and silverware that should've already been there). We waited way too long for our food. The food was good but I still yet to have good service.
We had the stuffed mushrooms, salmon, and beef short rib-delicious! Totally recommend trying for yourselves. 😋
Stopped by Nextdoor at Birdie’s and had the biscuits and gravy. The food was decent, nothing fancy, but it tasted good and did the job. Unfortunately, the gnats were a pretty big issue. Within about 10 minutes, I had one fly into my water, and it felt like I was constantly swatting them away throughout the meal. It definitely took away from the experience. Overall: good food, bad bugs. Hopefully they can get the gnat problem under control because otherwise it’s a decent spot.
WOW! The retro Decor, long beautiful bar gives me a vibe that welcome me into eat. The FOOD is the star of the show. Ribs, homemade mashed potatoes and creamed corn that lives in my head. Very relaxed in this busy world! This is a real gem in Valparaiso IN. I highly recommend this restaurant. I forgot to mention the dessert, the best carrot cake rolled & sliced with caramel drizzled over the cake!
