Our recent experience at the GV urgent care center was very, very bad! We had made an appointment , but waited for more than one hours hour ( and there was no one else waiting!) When we finally saw the PA, she told me to take a Tylenol and have x-rays. We had already checked to make sure an x-ray technician would lie be available at our scheduled appointment time, only to be told he wasn’t in the center that day! I went to this facility for an UTI confirmed by a urine test performed at the same facility. I was prescribed antibiotics x 7 days, but after 4 doses or 2 days of treatment the pain was still present, so I called back to get a different antibiotic. I was told that I need to go back in person, get a new urine test and pay again bc they have a different doctor. It is very upsetting, they only have to change the antibiotic for something better since they already did a urine test less than than 48 hours before and anyways even i... read more

I've been there once and probably won't go back. To be fair, the facility was clean and orderly, the staff were pleasant and professional, and the level of care that I received was what I would have expected. BUT.... Upon arrival, I was told that the waiting time would be 2.5 hours. I was advised to make an appointment for the next day and come back. I did. The waiting time was still 2.5 - 3 hours. AND... Dr. Jones was fabulous. Patient centered, took time to ask questions, very personable and knowledgeable. Front desk gal, she is a whole other story. First, she processed my insurance incorrectly. When I called (after my appointment) to have her correct what she did, she got rather nasty with me, kept speaking over me instead of listening to hear what I was trying to say…then yelled at me saying, “stop trying to tell me how to do my job”. excellent, professional and focused attention on my elbow injury. very attentive and knowledgeable medical staff and well organized and efficient intake the front desk. can't imagine having had a better treatment outcome. highly recommend this urgent care facility
