This was the worst experience I have ever had. Such a scam. They should be closed down by a class action for their preditory business practices. They require you to prepay but then require more than double the price in insurance over the original booking. Would like to join class action suit against next car for their misleading and predatory business practices that hide behind the small print. Would leave 0 stars if possible.

Horrible customer service. I booked through Expedia, who accepted my deposit. On the day I was to get the car from Nextcar, they informed me that they did not accept my credit card (vendor) and refuse to issue a refund. The customer service agents were extremely rude. Not only were they rude to me, but rude to the customers who were before me. Expect to wait a very long time in line to finally get to the window. A huge ZERO for me. Very disappointed.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with NextCar Rental. While I want to highlight that the shuttle driver from the airport to the rental location was genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive to details, the overall service at the rental desk was far from satisfactory. I ended up spending over an hour just to get my car, which was incredibly frustrating. I rented Toyota Camry from NextCar in LA for 12 days, and my experience was fully positive: car was in good order, everything went as advertised, no unexpected charges. My advice to out-of-state renters that will help you avoid problems and have positive experience: 1. If you’re using your own insurance rather than buying it from NextCar, make sure to bring full page copy of your insurance declaration page.
