Worst experience ever! DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM NEXTCAR LAX! The location is far from the airport - in an non-operating hotel - remote and sketchy. When you get there, they ask you to show the liability insurance - most people don't have it with them, so they're forced to pay additional $41 per day! It's the worst scam. When you return the car to this very sketchy place - you have to take an uber back to the hotel, because they do not provide shuttles. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGONY - AND DO NOT RENT A CAR AT NEXTCAR IN LAX!

This was the worst experience I have ever had. Such a scam. They should be closed down by a class action for their preditory business practices. They require you to prepay but then require more than double the price in insurance over the original booking. Would like to join class action suit against next car for their misleading and predatory business practices that hide behind the small print. Would leave 0 stars if possible.

Horrible customer service. I booked through Expedia, who accepted my deposit. On the day I was to get the car from Nextcar, they informed me that they did not accept my credit card (vendor) and refuse to issue a refund. The customer service agents were extremely rude. Not only were they rude to me, but rude to the customers who were before me. Expect to wait a very long time in line to finally get to the window. A huge ZERO for me. Very disappointed.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with NextCar Rental. While I want to highlight that the shuttle driver from the airport to the rental location was genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive to details, the overall service at the rental desk was far from satisfactory. I ended up spending over an hour just to get my car, which was incredibly frustrating.
