I would give this 0 stars if I could. Tina Leavitt runs an entirely unprofessional team, including Meghan Ryan, who double booked my child’s first appointment with her. I had to rearrange her entire schedule to accommodate the time given to me just for it to be taken from me. Tina doesn’t answer the phone and laughed at me when she finally did. This place seems to be about mothers, for mothers and totally against fathers in every way. The damage that Lauren Pettit and the owner Tina Levitt have done to my father son realtionship is beyond repair. With no proof and no evidence, they destroyed the realtionship with my son. I have joint custody but somehow was never made aware of the false allegations that were being spread. But thats the way they want it. We were referred to Next Step by our pediatrician’s social worker over a year ago. I had been trying to find a practice and therapist that understands my child and his needs. More so, we were able to find a place that can coach us how to help him with identifying and validating his emotions while building confidence and accountability. So much progress has been made already, and we cannot wait to continue working with Tina and her awesome team. We appreciate you so much!

Extremely concerning billing practices and lack of safeguards for co-parenting situations. In my case, a one-on-one parent session was billed through my child’s insurance policy—coverage provided by a stepparent—while the session itself involved a different parent entirely. That parent is fully capable of maintaining and using their own insurance, yet there appears to be no requirement or effort to bill separately.
