We were referred to Next Step by our pediatrician’s social worker over a year ago. I had been trying to find a practice and therapist that understands my child and his needs. More so, we were able to find a place that can coach us how to help him with identifying and validating his emotions while building confidence and accountability. So much progress has been made already, and we cannot wait to continue working with Tina and her awesome team. We appreciate you so much!
Extremely concerning billing practices and lack of safeguards for co-parenting situations. In my case, a one-on-one parent session was billed through my child’s insurance policy—coverage provided by a stepparent—while the session itself involved a different parent entirely. That parent is fully capable of maintaining and using their own insurance, yet there appears to be no requirement or effort to bill separately.
