Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience with this firm. I hired them specifically for representation in a restraining order hearing in july 2026 and provided substantial evidence, timelines, call records, and communications. However, I did not feel adequately prepared for testimony, cross-examination, or presentation of my evidence before the hearing. I’m disappointed about my representation from NextLegal. When I first contacted them, they promised me they have lots of experience with DVRO trial and they told me they would prep me well including rehearsal from the perspective of both sides. That’s why I trusted them and retrained them for handling the DVRO case and trial. What I got instead: - trial brief was done very last minute and completed on the date of the deadline - lots of typos and mistakes in trial documents that I had to spend lots of time correcting - only 2... read more
