I called for an appointment and nobody got back to me. I was the one who had to call and still nobody was able to get me through to scheduling. These people are part of one of the country's renowned hospitals meaning one of the top hospitals in the country and there is no professionalism at All by any means. But how fast I got a phone call when I called up the hospital which is located in Manhattan the big hospital and got a hold of administration to make a complaint about the location on Queens boulevard wow I got a phone ... read more

ERs can change! My 5 month old daughter had a difficulty breathing with cough and stridor at rest. Since New York-Presbyterian Westchester is the closest hospital to us, I rushed her to their ER even though I wanted to go to White Plains Hospital. My plan was to have her there and then transfer her somewhere else since my previous 3 experiences with this ER were not positive (long wait to be triaged, disorganized, carelessly rushed, etc.). This time, our wait time was less than 2 min (the waiting area was almost empty, 2 p... read more

Unsafe child psych ER- children on CO but the staff eyes glued to their phones when they were not sleeping (literally snoring in the halls) MD gives 10 minute assessments “we will be back to talk”and just never returned. When asking for info the case manager/social worker actually yell at parents at nursing station- Resident/fellow/attending (?) MDs angry he was (quote)“so busy taking care of 7 screaming kids” and got very rude with inappropriate/insulting comments to a parent right in front of a child/patient- unwilling to ... read more

Worst Emergency room ever!!!! I took my 2 year old in for a 104 fever and I waited 2 1/2 hours in the waiting area for some tylenol that never came. They moved us to the inside only to wait another hour and 1/2 for it. When it finally came he threw it up and the nurse was going to get him a suppository and she never came back. I finally got pissed off and told her I was taking my son to NYU. Horrible staff and they don't care for children.

I almost lost my child and my wife to the incompetence at this hospital. It's just one giant baby mill. Go somewhere else where you'll get personal care.
