NP Moore prescribed a UTI antibiotic and when I asked why exactly that she said because "that's the one that I usually prescribe" with no scientific explanation to it.. just shocking. Long story short, I had to go to the urgent care few days after to figure out what was actually going on. Do not recommend. The ladies in the reception who were really nice though.
So far, so good! I’m 13 weeks pregnant and I’ve been to my first two ultrasounds and doctor’s appointments here. This is my first pregnancy and my husband and I LOVE Dr. Mehta. She is sweet, informative, listens to your concerns and addresses all of them. She sent me home with a big folder of stuff to read and it answered most of my questions I had forgotten to ask her at my first appointment. What a disastrous and a terrifying experience! This place is full of unprofessional and standoffish people. Refused to provide the right care because the appointment was scheduled for ‘something else’ according to them. Complete waste of time. First time here and will never come back, looks old, rundown and dirty!
Dr. Elmazi is an amazing doctor, however I had to see Ioana Livinti as Dr. Elmazi was away. Unfortunately, during my ultrasound, I found out that the fetus did not have a heartbeat. Quite frankly, I have not yet processed this, partly because of the way Livinti told me. She barely looked at me, quickly mumbled “it has no heartbeat it is not viable”. Got there at 7:55 for my 8:00 am appointment. I get taken to an exam room by a medical assistant at 8:15. The medical assistant leaves the room at 8:20 for me to undress, about 5 minutes later someone comes into the room looking for medical supplies. That’s okay, completely fine. Things happen. At 8:41 (so 20 minutes sitting undressed in the exam room) the medical assistant comes in and lets me know the provider I was seeing wasn’t there.
