The incompetence of the NYP Medical Group *office* staff - located at 540 Gramatan Ave in Mt Vernon NY - rears its head another time as they *again* submit claims incorrectly FOR THE EXACT SAME VISIT TYPE they submitted incorrectly before. This time causing me to be billed for an amount 4X what I was billed last time. NYP Medical Group located at 540 Gramatan Ave in Mount Vernon NY has probably the worst providers office staff I’ve dealt with - specifically related to fixing an issue that THEY created. For over half a year I’ve been attempting to address a laboratory bill with the provider’s office - with MULTIPLE calls to both the providers office (where I was told different things depending on who I spoke to) as well as the lab (where in contrast the information provided was consistent) that provided the diagnostics. I’m only giving two stars because of Nurse Maria. She was amazing. I don’t understand how Farahani has good reviews. I recently had Covid this February and it hit me pretty badly. I’m still recovering. I went to urgent care after being sick for three weeks and the doctor suggested I follow up for long Covid because I’m still experiencing some symptoms. The only positive thing that she was able to accommodate me in a such a short time since all of the appointments weren’t until April. I didn’t want to come here but it was the... read more

I have been going her for about 10 years to see Dr. Ekaterina Milchtein and Dr. Hartman. They both have been nothing but kind patient and always willing to help. Front staff as well above and beyond. Never miss a beat. Always remember you get what you give. And keep in mind there are a lot of elderly patients so just because your appointment is less than 30min doesn't mean everyone else is.
