The administration staff and call center is not good here. I was admitted in the hospital sick with an illness and I had to miss my physical therapy appointments, I did call days before and let them know. Because I missed 2 visits the manager said I need to be “re-evaluated” again and go through a paperwork evaluation. When I ask to speak to a supervisor on the phone for a regular physical therapy appointment the supervisor said the following on the phone “Do you think this a gym here? The administration staff here at NYP is very unprofessional and rude. They barely have any appointments available for weeks and when you didn’t come to physical therapy for weeks because you were sick in the hospital and no appointments available they tell you that you have to be re-evaluated again and need to do a progress report. The doctors, physical therapists, and staff have all been great. Everyone was kind, courteous and patient with answering questions. Very convenient to have x-rays and radiology on premise so you don't have to go somewhere else, and they were super quick. Note that if you're driving there, the parking lot isn't open for visitors but parking on nearby side streets wasn't too difficult to find.
