The most abysmal lack of communication I have ever experienced. No transparency about fees or billing, no sympathy for people navigating the healthcare system for the first time. They say they'll get back to you in x business days and never respond to your concerns. Truly appalling and dehumanizing experience.

My experience with NewYork-Presbyterian has been incredibly frustrating. If you need something corrected, such as insurance information or a referral, be prepared for the runaround. Time and again, I've been told someone would take care of it, asked to wait while they supposedly made the correction, and assured that I would receive a call once everything was completed.
