My parents have been displaced from Newtown Woods to do error in construction. It started last week with their unit and their upstairs neighbors being flooded by a faulty sprinkler system. These units are in building 6. Purchased and owned by each family. Building inspectors and fire marshall signed off on a botched job. Now 3 more families, including an 80 year old women have been displaced as the same faulty sprinkler issue just flooded 3 more condo units yesterday afternoon. Let’s see, so far there have been 7 apartments flooded by a sprinkler system that was apparently not built correctly and that they seem to be unable to fix! This building was just completed, after many delays!! What a mess!
