My parents purchased a Riccar vacuum from this store more than a dozen years ago! It still works really well. Over the years Newtown Sew and Vac has serviced and repaired it (when my kid did things like vacuum up screws and quarters) and have kept it in great shape. They are always friendly and kind with great customer service to boot. If the dog is there that's an extra bonus! The pup is friendly too!

Sandy, the owner, is the absolute best when it comes to the products he sells, both when selling new or advising on repairs to existing items. It's a pleasure to shop there.

the owner of Newtown sew and vac is the nicest and most knowledgeable person you will find! he is honest, kind, personable and truly passionate. you will not find anyone who knows more about about their products! I bought a vaccuum 8 years ago and will only go to him for replacement bags and filters as well as the occasional tune up. recently he donated a bottle of persil laundry detergent for my daughters daughter's science fair project and I will now only use his detergent. it is amazing! thank you Newtown sew and vac!

The owner is so kind and helpful. I went in the day before Thanksgiving with a broken vacuum and he fixed two parts in about 10 minutes. When I asked what I owed, he said nothing and that it was his Thanksgiving gift to me. Every time I go into the store for bags, whoever is there is so pleasant. This is the place to go if you need anything for your vacuum. Just the best!

Fantastic service! Replied to my email off hours AND followed up the next day with a phone call. The shop is easily accessible to I95, spacious, clean, and soooooo warm and welcoming! Even better still, they serviced my vacuum cleaner right there on the spot and FIXED IT! I didn’t even have an appointment! I am ecstatic to have found them and plan to be back!

Even without electricity this past week from the storm they were able to fish out an eye dropper that was stuck in the hose! Love this place and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable.

I recently had the pleasure to meet Sandor and his lovely wife and son while stopping into Newtown Sew and Vac. I was surprised at how much more they offer than “sew and vac”. High end appliances, great prices, and friendly family atmosphere. I will definitely be stopping here next time I need any new appliances -right in newtown under SurroundCycle and next door to Dunkin-

these are the most honest people. I took my shampooed to be fixed it was a simple problem that they fixed on the spot and wouldn't take one cent for their service. They could have kept it and charged me I wouldn't have known yet they didnt. I'm a senior citizen and a widow and saving the money meant the world to me. I strongly reccomend these people their integrity is amazing. thank you guys
