I want to thank the folks at Newtown Generators for their guidance and excellent service throughout the process of purchasing and installing a back up home generator. Joe and Aubree were great to work with and managed every detail on the project perfectly. I highly recommend these folks for anyone considering a generator for their home. I am so happy and grateful to have found Newtown Generators and Electric! They came quickly when my generator red light came on abruptly. They found two problems which the previous service people missed. One was an unusual wiring problem which took some detective work to figure out. Thank you for the peace of mind and great service!

I recently plugged in an old appliance and immediately three rooms lost power. However, the breaker for these rooms never tripped. That's as far as I wanted to go. I'm definitely not an electrical DIY'er. I called Newtown Generator; Joe came out and found that all outlets in all 3 rooms were still hot, but not working. He diagnosed the problem and found that I had melted the neutral wire (inside the panel) - this had been a potentially dangerous situation - Problem Solved in a timely and efficient manner. Prompt.. responded to my request last week within an hour, and had a most competent tech out that same day. Corrected the problem, explained everything clearly , fee reasonable. Had a generator here for 8 years and have been thru several service companies of varying competence at best. Will def call these folks again for any electric needs I may have, too!
