I am completely disgusted with this doctors office. the staff are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Most times I call they tell me to use the portal and literally hang up on me. They are very eager to take my credit card and aggravated anytime you ask them to do their job. I have called 5 times to have my prescription sent to another pharmacy, because the CVS they keep sending it to charges 20x the price of every other pharmacy in the area. Dr Garcia is an amazing doctor. He is kind, respectful and listens. Unfortunately the business end is a nightmare. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Makes interacting with the practice a nightmare.
Our visit to the neurology department today was nothing short of amazing. Right from the start, the front desk staff impressed us with their exceptional helpfulness and professionalism. It seems this is a number/volume practice. I think I have had better customer service from the McDonalds at O'Hare airport. The doctor had poor responses to my inquiries where he obviously did not read any of my concerns. It took no less than four calls to have my medical records transferred to another practice (apparently it's the patient's problem that they outsourced their back office), of which the office staff were extremely rude the first two calls.
