I had mostly a great experience with a lot of the doctors last night. I came in with an allergic reaction but then a nurse with an attitude came by and couldn’t iv me now I got a big dark bruise that’s soar and after poking me for the second time and asking for something else they give me everything in pill form I just never understood that but other than that everyone else was nice to me 🙏🏻
My experience at Newton Hospital was deeply upsetting and has left a lasting impact on me. I was dealing with serious health concerns and repeatedly felt dismissed and not taken seriously when explaining my symptoms. When I expressed that I felt no one was listening to me, staff responded with comments like “thank you” and “you’re welcome” in a way that came across as mocking rather than supportive. I went tonight for my bf. He was having heart problems and felt like he couldn’t breathe. It took them 2 hours to go back, the people were ignoring everything and just talking amongst themselves showing eachother pictures on their phones. After he finally goes back he’s back there for another 3 just sitting there. The nurse forgot his fluids for the iv and then finally comes back around after awhile and says ohhh yeah your fluids!🤦🏼♀️ they were very busy to the point most people were in the halls. horrible place to be. a 21 year old WITH A HEART PROBLEM and they had me wait 3 hours just to be seen and then wait another 2 hours for them to start talking to me. they put a needle in my arm and then left it there for an hour and a half and when the nurse saw me he said “oh yea i have to give you fluids” like he forgot he was supposed to.. my doctor was talking to me and looking at me like he didn’t believe i had heart problems bc “young people like myself don’t experience heart problems like this.” like i was saying all o... read more
