I highly recommend Newton Hook Tree Care. Andrew is pleasant and knowledgeable and took great care with our trees. They also offered the best price out of three quotes. I would definitely use them again.

I can’t speak to value but their prices seem fair to me. We’ve used them twice and each time we’ve been very pleased with their knowledge, competence and courteous service. I trust Andrew’s advice and his ability to carry through on the work we agree needs to be done. A pleasure to deal with.

Andrew did not complete the job and came nowhere near what was promised for the price he charged us. When we asked when he might be able to return to complete the job, he told us it would take weeks for his return. He is a nice guy and certainly an expert on trees, but we felt very misled and completely ripped off by the end.

Andrew came to review the tree work in person twice before we hired him. He told us the work was likely doable in 4 days. Rather than a specific scope of work contract, he said we'd be better of doing a fixed daily rate. Wrong. We paid in full for the 4 days of scope he described, as the expert. No trees or work were added, not a thing. He and his team only completed about 2.5 days worth of the work in 4 days.
