I have been going to New Star for years and I am so disappointed in my nails, chipping not painted properly and for what I paid I expect better.
I have been attending Newstar since before they relocated to the new mall (10+ years). Today was the last straw. Quality has been getting worse the last 18months. I’ve never had an issue with pedicures 10/10. But Gel Builder and the lady who did this today had a 0 care factor. I asked for tip on two nails, she ignored. Tram was amazing, detail oriented, precise and so friendly and warm. I’m VERY picky and rarely leave a nail salon happy tbh but she really did it for me. I will coming back and recommending to friends.
I recently returned to New Star Nails after a great experience earlier this year. This time I asked for acrylic French tip nails with a natural, slightly pink base and showed a reference photo. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some miscommunication, as the final colour came out much whiter than expected and looked more like regular polish than a natural acrylic base.
