Walked into Tom’s shop and asked if he could trim some ipe wood down and drill a few holes for me. I was rebuilding an old wrought iron bench. Didn’t expect his friendly interest in my simple project and his upbeat attitude. When I came back with the wood, he sent someone out to carry the wood in. Thought that was very thoughtful. The men there did quality work in a very short time. Would recommend Tom’s shop any day of the week. Thanks Tom !!
I'm the kind of guy and cigar smoker/collector that knows what I want and I go for it, but when it came time to get a bigger humidor the research began. It didn't yield me the info I was looking for when picking a new bigger humidor. I was introduced to the newshams by a good friend of mine who assured me I was going the the right people for the job. Newshams Woodshop, Lisa,Tom, and Tom jr. Such a great family business. Professional from start to finish. Quality is top notch. I had to take a double look at their pricing because i honestly couldn't believe what i was seeing. I was so frustrated after spending some time looking at "nice" humidors that were just that, nice on the surface, but were weak and stapled together, and had that little gold sticker on the bottom telling where it was made.
