About this business
We are a family run restaurant that started in 1989, in Orange County, specializing in Chinese seafood, with Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Thai influences. Since opening our San Gabriel location in 1996, we have sold our Orange County locations and currently only have the San Gabriel and Rowland Heights restaurants. Our mission is to serve delicious food while it is hot and to keep the customers coming back.

for lobster lovers If you are craving lobster done the Vietnamese/Chinese way, this is definitely the place to go to. The house lobster is their #1 specialty. The chicken feet salad is delicious, and so is the black pepper steak dish. Plan ahead though, because this place will get packed all day, especially on weekends. Parking can also be a problem, but street parking is generally available. Prices are decent, you get what you pay for, and more. I definitely would recommend this place.
Amazing Lobster! YUM YUM YUM! I can't say enough about their house special lobster - it is truly to die for! It's definitely a must if you're sick of the bland "lobster dip in butter" kinda thing. Definitely plan ahead and pad in some extra time if you have a big party because you won't get seated if your party's not all there. And the line is LONG!
Best Asian Seafood We've eaten at this Newport Seafood and also at the Rowland Heights location. Can't pick a favorite location, both are very good. Like everyone says, get the lobster dish! Clams and geoduck are very good dishes as well.
Excellent Chinese Restaurant with Lobster, Crab, Fish Authenic, succulent Chinese dishes including house special lobster, crab, fried whole fish, French beef, etc. Daily (7 days a week) lunch specials are very inexpensive ($4-6 per and fast! On holidays, there are no lunch specials, except for take-out. Hot & Sour Soup included for dine-in only. Located in BUSY plaza, so good luck parking. PROS: Excellent Chinese food, esp. fresh lobster & crab CONS: Parking is tough in this very busy plaza, so go early
