This guy may be a competent surgeon, but he's a rotten and rude doctor, which I guess is par-for-the-course with gaining a god-complex in Surgery residency and practice. I guess when your bills are paid doing unnecessary surgeries as a lyme-denialist, you're not going to help out a case of Lyme-related hand swelling -- right in front of your eyes -- which should at least invoke some curiosity as he'd just dismissively labelled me a "zebra" in a prior appointment, when none of those symptoms were present, and i just had a "tr... read more
I shattered my forearm in May '25 and wasn't sure if my arm would become normal again. Dr. Desai and his team put my arm back together and I am pleased to say that the bone has fully healed while strength and mobility are to come next. Dr. Desai's bedside manners are the best I've ever experienced (10 broken bones and six ortho surgeries over the years). We had an outstanding experience with Dr. Desai and the entire team. Dr. Desai was incredibly thorough, taking the time to answer all our questions both during our initial office visit and in the pre-operative suite prior to surgery. We especially appreciated that he provided an order for occupational therapy (OT) before surgery, which allowed us to schedule OT sessions in advance. I was compelled to say what a pleasure it has been having Dr. Desai treat me for my hands and an additional shout out for Dr. Trivellas who has been treating me with my knee. First class all the way, in addition to providing a seamless path with communication and scheduling.
