Very disappointing experience. I received a text message—not a phone call—only 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment while I was driving, informing me that my appointment was cancelled and I needed to call to reschedule. When I called, I was on hold for 30 minutes, then another 30 minutes before being able to leave a message. I finally spoke with someone about 2 hours later, only to find out I had been scheduled with the wrong doctor. Now, my new appointment is a week away. I trust Dr. Nassif implicitly. He is super smart, and after having him do both a hip and knee replacement, I can say that he is extremely skilled. As he is a very busy guy, I elected to wait to get into his schedule. Another member of my family also had a procedure done by him, and feels as I do. In fact, she is also the reason that I decided to schedule with him. I am currently recovering from knee replacement and am amazed at the speed of my recovery. Newport Orthopedic Institute is the worst. first, they took my MRI and they forgot to schedule the appointment, I called after 10 days and spent additional 2 days getting a hold on anyone, then I finally got my surgery scheduled, now the doctor isn't available every 2 weeks for checkups as they promised, I got my initial post-surgery 15 days AFTER my surgery, you are supposed to have this within 5 days, and the post checkups was supposed to be every 2 weeks, they scheduled them for every 3-4 weeks, and even with that calling... read more
