Dr. Shukla did my reverse shoulder replacement, and did an excellent job. He also provided great follow-up care. Unfortunately, he is no longer at the Newport Orthopedic Institute. No explanation was given, and I was asked to choose a new orthopedist. I would like to know where he has gone. Miss you, Dr. Shukla!

Dr. Scukla preformed a reverse shoulder replacement after three earlier shoulder surgeries failed. The entire process was flawless and two weeks into recovery, things are good. Still an additional six weeks of guarded recovery and additional physical therapy are ahead. The people I have spoken to, indicate that after 6-12 months, you won't even remember that you ever even had the procedure.
