If you are seeing Alessandro Papa for oncology, get a second opinion at Rhode Island Hospital or Dana Farber in Boston. He ignored obvious leukemia signs in my mother and I. Getting a referral off the island was like pulling teeth because he wouldn't admit there was an issue. Months and months of going back and forth between him and my PCP just wasted time and let the leukemia symptoms get worse. He should seriously be investigated for medical malpractice and negligence.
