Nice change What a great change to the store in the last year or so..Everything is so clean and decorated nicely..The new people working are very helpfull..A good change....They are very helpfull and smiling ..Great selection of items and the sales are wonderful
tvalentine7 I think this company has been great, their sale things are way inexpensive, and I enjoy going in there. I also have brought my own things in and they are careful on what they bring in, they like higher quality things when it comes to clothing. I will always be a customer, and the staff is usually always nice.
RUDE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service to long time consignors like myself!! I have always taken my items there for consignment FOR YEARS but Newport Kids has gone through a change of staff recently and the new girl who is there throughout the week is completely rude, and extremely unwilling to make an exception for people who have been in business with them for so long! I told her not once but a few times that i have always dropped off to them whenever i got a chance, but she refused to accept them and MADE me make an appointment t... read more
Disappointed Make sure if you do business with these people you get documentation of what you are selling with them before leaving. I dropped off a Rhode Gear bike seat with rack which she said would sell for $75 and a wood playhouse they were selling for $12.99. 2 months later I get a check for $16.60 of which I had to go in and request. How do you get only $16.60 back from $87.99 sold? Can you say rip off?
very nice alternative to department stores I took a friend who was expecting a baby to Newport Kids after I had read about then online. What a great place! They've got a bonanza of everything baby - including stuff for the moms and moms to be at a fraction of the cost of retail. We literally furnished the baby's room that day and was able to get my friend a bunch of maternity clothes for her as well. Great store; can't say enough good things about it.
