Sat at the bar. Had a really nice piece of cod flavored well and a couple of martinis on the happy hour menu. The cod was really well flavored - the only complaint would be that the cod was very hot so it was directly out of the kitchen off the grill or however they cooked it but the mashed potatoes were a little cool.
We had such a wonderful experience at Newport Grill, and I especially want to recognize Justin and Gavin. They were absolutely fantastic with our group of 13! They were attentive, kind, patient, and somehow managed to make a big table feel completely effortless. We were there for 4 hours; we ended up staying past closing at 11 p.m., and not once did they make us feel rushed or like we were a burden. That really stood out to us.
