Newport glass showed up at my residence to replace a broken window. The technicians went upstairs to get the window and replace it. The house was under renovation by me, the owner. So I went back to what I was doing as I assumed they would know what a broken window looked like…. RecommendedI am an Interior Designer based in Newport, RI. I called Newport Glass this morning with a question regarding repairing a small chip in a clients glass table top. I asked if they could repair it--they said, yes; however, the gentleman I spoke with said try a fine grit sandpaper to just smooth it out first. SUPER nice and helpful. Newport Glass was fantastic. Ken and James were super receptive to all my inquiries, and came up with a fantastic design. Due to a bow in one of my walls, we used a combination of U channel (for 1 wall) and clips on the bottom. Ken was willing to do the job with all clips or with all u channel, but recommended this mixed approach for my job. I could not find any examples online of this, but I trusted Ken's judgment.
