So disappointed and frustrated with the service from Carpet One in Newport and so sorry I ordered from them. I ordered our shades and paid in full on Dec 1, 2025. I was told to expect the shades to take a couple of weeks. But they were delayed -- that was disappointing but no fault of Carpet One. Finally they did arrive the week of Jan 14th and install scheduled for Jan 21. Chris told me to expect the installer to be at my home between 1 and 4 pm. Fantastic shopping experience! Erin was thorough in explaining to me the different grades and padding options. Their prices were really good, and I'm happy I can do business locally.
I met with Chris Cirinna at the Newport store a few weeks ago to pick out hardwood laminate. We had some phone calls prior to our meeting. In all dealings I had with him, he was personable, kind, and professional. He even helped me to my car after our appointment because I'm having trouble walking. I didn't ask him. He came outside on his own after seeing me struggling and offered to help. What a gentleman.
