I've been a patient at this dentist since childhood, always had been a welcoming place. I have only been to one cleaning appointment since change of ownership, the cleaning went great and my dental hygienist was kind and made me feel comfortable. I went in for cavity fillings and Dr. Slagel did them. Three separate times during the fillings he said things along the lines of “not sure if that’ll work but I guess we’ll find out” and laughing about it even though I told him it was my first time getting fillings and how scared I was. The fillings were small, so not serious ones, but I was in immense pain for days afterward. I regret to share my experience with this dental office, which has unfortunately been far from satisfactory. My initial visit was concerning, as I consulted with a young dentist who appeared more preoccupied with extraneous conversation than my dental needs. Despite my attempts to convey my concerns, it seemed he wasn't truly listening. My latest experience was great, I was extremely nervous about my first cavity filling, and they made me feel very comfortable and much more relaxed about the entire process. The Dr did things to distract me from the scary parts of the process, we chatted about how nice it was out, (I'm one of the few that still enjoys small talk) I asked about teeth whitening and they got me all set up with that super quick and easy. overall super satisfied and happy with my last appointment.

I went there one time for my first appointment and it was pretty good they did x rays and the normal routine things however, after the appointment we set up days through the month that I would be going to get my teeth worked on and left knowing it wouldn't be for another few weeks or so but as I was waiting for my appointment I got a phone call that my dentist would be out for the month on vacation or something and that the month after I would be seen a little annoyed I said ok and so I waited until the next month but before... read more
