Had issues with the property that they weren’t able to get back to us regarding for 2 days. It was about lack of heat and not having smoke detectors in the houses. Luckily AirBnb gave us partial refund.
Charming online photos… but not a place I’d ever stay again! Old, run down, dusty and smells like the cat lady lived there.
We love the home, great layout for an older home. Very efficient and the upstairs den has amazing views of Balboa. Spent most of our time up there. The “walk to town/restaurants” location on Balboa is the best! Our family has stayed here multiple times. I would have given a 5 star rating, but the beds are old and I got a sore back sleeping in the king bed over the garage. Some simple upgrading, cleaning the carpets and better beach items would make it perfect!
