When i stayed at newport i was 16 and was there for two months. In those two months I learned what normal is supposed to be like. No one ever raises their voice, I got to workout every day, eat good food prepared by a nutritionist, and live in a multi million dollar home but even those weren’t the best parts. I was a patient in a Newport facility over 1 year ago. Abusive. Dangerous. Coercive. Just a few words I’d use to describe their facilities. I seriously hope this corporate scheme gets shut down for the countless ethical violations that they are committing, seems in numerous facilities based on other reviews. If anyone that remembers me from there is reading this, just know that I’m still very much alive despite y’all telling me that I couldn’t survive without your “help.” You all should be disgusted with yourselves.

1. My experience with the clinal team was great. Always answers any question I had. Also made the process stress free. 2. My relationship with my family has gotten better. We have struggled with communicating towards each other and it’s still a work in progress but in the right direction of healing. 3. Wouldn’t recommend this facility their staff selection is seriously not equipped to handle others in a time of need. Or shall I say they are not professionals as much as it cost you would think they have everything together on their end . THEY DO NOT HELP WITH SOBRIETY PLEASE DON’T GO HERE IF YOU NEED TRUE HELP.

Staff were unhelpful, the supervisor Karin gave me a wicked smile after I tried to cancel discharge so I could get meds for my hallucinations, the rooms were dusty which made me itch because I had eczema, and it took forever for them to get Vaseline for me there while my skin was flaking, the staff were not friendly giving me the support I needed when clients isolated me from them. One of the staff members there didn’t provide me a grievance form because “it’s bedtime and you need to sleep”
