Though Newport was not the level of care my kiddo needed, it was not for a lack of effort and commitment from the staff and specialists. Even after being discharged, they are still making sure and committed that our son is getting the care he needs. For that, we are grateful.

Newport saved my childs life. I was so nervous while doing my research prior to applying. My child had already been in short term stay facilities 4 times in one year and there were many traumatic experiences in those other places which was what made me nervous. But speaking to doctors and therapists that had heard good things about Newport and then talking with the staff at Newport, I felt comfortable seeking their help for my child. My daughter was in the Residential program at the Rodeo House for 5 weeks. I felt like overall it did help establish some good coping skills and they did lots of recreational activities to keep them busy. We also did weekly family therapy via MS Teams. I was in constant contact with staff and if I had any questions or concerns I always contacted the staff.
