RecommendedI had cod and shrimp and it was yummy. A little on the spendy side for the portions you get but it was really good. I went in there store and bought some crab,oysters and prawns. Can't wait to eat it all at dinner
Newmans does NOT follow state Covid-19 guidelines. I witnessed an employee in the kitchen doing food prep without a required face covering.
I recently ordered two dinners from the Grotto. I was very disappointed. The Salmon pieces were small (looked like end pieces w/skin) and the shrimp were very tiny. The rice had NO flavor just a lot of it. I am new to the pacific northwest and to Eugene. This was very disappointing.
Thank you for a 5 star meal for my coworkers and I today. We are a group of nurses that work nearby the Grotto and have been really eating our emotions lately. What went from just a few of us ordering quickly turned into our whole department. 10 people ate for $90! And we were STUFFED... and HAPPY. It really hit the spot. Comfort food, 100%!
