They sent me a collection order without a judgement agaisnt me. They took the word of some drunk lady that ownes a bar in harveyville. We never received a notice to appear in court .We even called the court house and they said there was never a case or judgement against us.
Just received a judgement and garnishment of wages on an 18 year old debt that I don't believe is mine and was originally 30.00. They are garnishing 1545.00 . When I tried to call them, they were rude almost billigerant and refused any information on the debt. They did say that in 2001 I confessed in a court of law about the debt which was a bold face lie. Identity stolen. Police Report filed. They sued me anyway for $86. That was 13 years ago. Never heard form them since. Just paid them over $1600 in interest. Offered to pay half, no dice. Merry Christmas.
This company has been far from professional. They filed collection on an issue from 20 years ago and just now decided to reach out. I received a judgement for garnishment without ever being served papers or anything else. I had no proof that the issue had been taken care of 20 years ago and didn't know what else to do.
