Dr. Newman was the surgeon on call at Novant Medical Center in Salisbury when i drove myself to the ER for abdominal pain. I wasn't expecting to need emergency surgery that day but that's just what happened. I had no family with me and I was very anxious and tearful. Dr. Newman came into the exam room, introduced himself and explained what he was going to do and he suddenly made me feel at ease. He was kind, soft spoken and very reassuring. He was friendly, pleasant and listened. I had to have an urgent appendectomy and I was extremely nervous. After speaking with him in the ER, I felt much more at ease. From that moment all the way to my discharge, Dr. Newman made the experience much easier.
well, he was very professional and extremely friendly, actually saved my life and Im grateful for everyone involved including his nurse and receptionist as well
