Very bad experience. If you want to be treated like crap then this is the place for you. Andrea loves to be nasty to people, nothing gets fixed, and they seem very incompetent. Just very glad i got out.
John Newlove rentals have recently started using tenants security deposits for turnover costs, such as charging me and my roommates $400 for repainting the apartment. This is clearly against Ohio law but they know that college students cant afford legal action so they take advantage of that. They rescinded the $200 they were going to give us even though we accepted the offer despite it being very low. Took them weeks to get my heating fixed in the middle of winter. Our door locks broke last Christmas. They didn't get that fixed until May. The new locks they had put in did not work. I had to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. They're also very disorganized.
Just moved out of my apartment after two years here. Newlove and their team were outstanding —always friendly, quick to communicate, and caring at the front desk. Maintenance handled weather issues and frozen pipes fast, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a nice company to work with & I definitely recommend them.
