Got the wrong order, no dressing on the slaw and what I received that I ordered was super greasy. Waitress was super nice but manager was playing on her phone when we walked in and as we were leaving. The manager “graciously” took $3 off my meal but I still paid $13+ for 5 1/2 ounces of scallops and no sides. After 30+ years of eating at Newicks we will not be back, ever!!

Fresh seafood, prepared well.
At one time this was the best place to eat. Stopped tonight because the original clam chowder was back. Got two large and took them home. We sat down to eat and it was totally disgusting. The clams were like rubber and there was no flavor. This was not fresh and you could tell it had been warmed a few times. No potatoes all rubber clams. If it wouldn’t take me so long to get back for to traffic on Spaulding I would have brought them back. Wasted $18 something. At this point I won’t be back. Definitely call ahead for seating! Even though the place is huge, all of their tables are separated far apart for a more Covid-19 friendly atmosphere 😷
