Dr Newhouse is a very caring and professional dentist. She has treated me with gum surgery twice and placed an implant. In addition I see her every 4 months for cleaning. Her office accepts Care Credit with 12 months no interest that allows you to fit the treatment costs into your budget. The office is new and has all the state of the art equipment. The office is clean and much care is given to the sanitizing of equipment. I recommend her to anyone needing perio or implant treatment.
I'm in the dental products industry, so I interact with lots of dentists. I'm not related to any of them. When my rgular dentist sent me to see Dr. Newhouse, I knew of her, but didn't really know her professionally. Dr. Newhouse helped me save my teeth. The other doctor wanted to take them all out and I didn't want that, but he told me i had no choice. Well, he was wrong. I still have my teeth and it's because of a caring doctor that I do. Dr. Nancy Newhouse was spectacularly caring and gentle. She told me what she had to do, and what I had to do, and she told me almost exactly what it would cost. We have both done our jobs - and I still have my teeth. If you enjoy pain you will like Nancy Newhouse. She performed gum surgery on my top teeth and It was one of the worst, most painful experiences of my life. She was rough and uncaring. My husband could hear me screaming from the waiting room. She said she would be calling me that evening to follow up and I never heard from her. The third day after my surgery the stitches came loose and were hanging down into my mouth making it difficult to chew my food. I was not able to reach her to report the problem. Her prices are high. Dr. Newhouse is VERY good at what she does. I never knew I needed a periodontist until my general dds mentioned that I needed to have a "deep cleaning". After going to her and learning a lot of things I was never told or taught from my general dds, I now chose to only see her for my cleanings. I only go to my general dds if I have a cavity! There is a reason that there are specialists!!
Ever since my dentist sent me to the periodontist, Dr. Newhouse has provided my care. Not only was she able to save my teeth, but my whole health improved. I had scaling and root planing, three gum surgeries, and now, nearly five years of successful checkups. Dr. Newhouse and her staff were always caring and concerned, and she's very knowledgeable. She even called me in the evening after each of my surgeries, just to check up! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
Absolutely the best, most caring specialist I've ever been to. My implant surgery was a complete success, minimal discomfort, great, caring staff.
