Lovely place to stop, beautiful landscape, good service, what a gem, definitely stay here again
We stayed in one of the campsites below the tents and farthest away from the lake. Overall, the grounds are well maintained and the caretakers are doing a good job at that. However, the campground was so packed that it was hard to feel the "farm vibe". We could hear our neighbors snore at night, hear their music, even if not too loud, and even hear what movies they were watching on their phones while in their tent... Receptionist lady was actually horrible and should be fired she also bad rules like why can you only swim in the dam from 2pm - 5pm
We stayed at New Farm in Denmark in one of the bell tents and overall had a lovely experience. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the bell tents themselves are really charming and thoughtfully done. However, the setting did feel a little packed when fully booked. With a full house, the shared kitchen and bathroom/cleaning facilities felt a bit stretched, which slightly took away from the otherwise relaxing experience.
A mixed bag. The campground is well maintained and the ablution block is clean and beautiful. However it is way way overcrowded and this feels like a parking lot with some tents. Really a big disappointment. Given the name, I was expecting a quiet and well spaced retreat providing a quiet countryside experience with some privacy.
