Dr Davies and dr Hall and colleagues provide a much needed service to the community. We found the hospital, staff and doctors to be efficient, pleasant, and the clinical safety systems/expertise are comprehensive and as good as any in the health sector. Newcastle is fortunate.

I had cataract surgery on August 5th and 15th, 2024. The surgery was highly successful and my experience very positive. As a registered nurse over four decades, I recognize competence and excellence, as observed at the Newcastle Eye Hospital. Thank you for the expertise and interpersonal skills of Dr.Peter Davies, anaesthetists, and nurses, (Katherine, Kate, Fleur, Anne, Nicole, Kylie), and Monica, in reception.
I have just had my second cataract surgery at Newcastle Eye hospital. The professionalism of the hospital and staff is outstanding. The kindness and care of the nurses is a credit to all who work there. Nothing was too much trouble. The surgery by Dr Peter Davies was trouble free and the follow up from the hospital that all was going well was excellent.
