I had a serious retina detachment with a damaged macula and was operated on by Dr Davies.The practice staff are very professional and Dr Davies is the most outstanding doctor I have ever had. He genuinely cares about his patients outcomes and he is an outstanding surgeon and my result was positive when the prognosis was very grim. I have full vision back.
If I could give 100 stars I would. Every single contact I had at Newcastle Eye Hospital on each occasion showed that the staff truly care about their patients. I was kept informed every step of the way which is very comforting and the Hospital runs like a well oiled machine, on time and super organised. Dr Davies is so excellent at what he does. He removed my cataracts and because of his amazing work I now have 2 eyes with 20/20 vision after wearing glasses since I was 4 years old. Words can’t express how very grateful I am.... read more
Dr Davies and dr Hall and colleagues provide a much needed service to the community. We found the hospital, staff and doctors to be efficient, pleasant, and the clinical safety systems/expertise are comprehensive and as good as any in the health sector. Newcastle is fortunate.
