Since when do we ask for a tip before the service is performed? And when is it mandatory to tip?I called and asked to use a Groupon, they wanted to be sneaky and accept the Groupon amount but ask that I pay them directly. They then charged $10 to use a card (pretty high for a card charge)--their reasoning was that there would be a $5 charge to use the card.
